There are moments in life that feel quietly monumental—the kind that don’t shout, but instead settle gently into your heart and stay there. This is one of those moments.

The Star-Speckled Garden is now available on Amazon.

This book is more than just a release—it’s my very first published work as a children’s book illustrator.

It’s also something even more meaningful: a years-long collaboration with Benji Waters. From the very beginning, this story has been shaped together—with a shared vision, evolving gently over time. We truly consider both the words and the illustrations to be a collaboration, each one inspiring and supporting the other in equal measure.

For a long time, illustration has lived in my world as something deeply personal—a place of softness, imagination, and reflection. Bringing that inner world into a printed book, something you can hold, flip through, and share with a child, feels incredibly meaningful. It’s a quiet dream realized.

The Star-Speckled Garden is a gentle, whimsical story about two small spiders navigating their worries and discovering something tender and transformative within themselves. It’s about perspective, compassion, and the soft, powerful shift that happens when we learn to see ourselves clearly.

Every page was created with care—layered with metaphor, emotion, and a sense of wonder we hope children (and adults) can feel as they move through the story. You can view some of the illustrations here.
