Mowgli + Kaa
Indie’s rendition of two characters from a classic – Mowgli and Kaa from “The Jungle Book.” This illustration was completed as a personal project, inspired by SCBWI’s monthly illustration prompt for October 2025 – “reptile.” When Indie saw the prompt, she went right to a favorite reptile from a favorite story from her own childhood, and this illustration poured out.
